  1. Lenders seem not bear some of the responsibility for continuing to lend to the deadbeat borrowers? I say yes, and that is why I fully support changing the bankruptcy laws to include private student loans. Not so student can shirk their responsibility through bankruptcy, but to encourage lenders to be more judicious in their lending practices to young, oftentimes naive students.
